Population ageing has profound impacts on economies and societies
Addressing the challenges and opportunities of population ageing requires evidence-based policies. To support member States, ESCAP analyses key demographic indicators as well as other indicators pertaining to population ageing, such as on health and social protection. Data are presented in databases and country profiles, as shown further below.
